Celebrated Golden Anniversary.
Our Castalia correspondence records the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Uhley on Friday last the 13th. Mr. and Mrs. Uhley are among Bloomfield township’s best known and most worthy citizens and have many friends who join in extending congratulations.

Golden Wedding.—On Friday, Nov. 13, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Uhley celebrated the 50th anniversary of their marriage. Twenty-five guests assembled to make merry with the bride and groom. The rooms were beautifully decorated with yellow chrysanthemums. At one o’clock an elaborate dinner was served, after which the guests lingered to tell anecdotes of the past and discuss problems of the present. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Will Uhley of Fairbury, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. Ray Algyer of Decorah, Dr. C. H. Flynn and Mrs. Newton Harvey of Postville and Mrs. Langbein of Ossian. It was the wish of all present that Mr. and Mrs. Uhley may live to enjoy many more anniversaries of their wedding day.
