The five notes left by C. L. Nerbye when he committed suicide have been translated from Swedish. Each of them contained the statement that he had done the best he could and had failed. They said he had lost the $10,000 bequeathed to him a few years ago. Nerbye is the Lake Mills man whose body was found near Camp Douglass.
