Obituaries
David S. Inskeep was born July 26, 1842, in Monongahela County, West Virginia. He removed to Champaign County, Ill., in the spring of 1865, where he was married to Charity V. Trotter, December 10, 1867. Of this union there were five children born, three of whom are living and are present. He came with his family to Iowa in 1871, and settled in Appanoose County, where he lived five years, coming to Wayne Co., in the fall of 1876, and has resided in this immediate neighborhood ever since. He died May 11, 1907, aged 64 years, 9 months and 15 days. He was a kind husband and father, a good neighbor and citizen. The funeral services were conducted from the late home on Monday, May 13, by A. E. Clemens. A large number of friends and neighbors gathered to pay respect to his memory and sympathize with the bereaved family. The body was laid to rest in the Tharp cemetery.
