Couples Say Wedding Vows Over Weekend ...

Judy Orris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Orris, and Craig Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Jones, all of Ainsworth, were married at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Ainsworth Community Church.

The Rev. Jack R. Hooten officiated.

The bride's empire gown of silk organza over polyester sateen had a bodice of embroidered venise lace, high mandarin collar and bishop sleeves. Her chapel-length mantilla veil also was edged with lace. She carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations accented with light blue and lavender.

Linda Morris was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Debbie Norris and Bonnie Becker. Debbie Orris, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. All are of Ainsworth.

They wore gowns of lavender and blue paisley chiffon over taffeta with long sheer sleeves, mandarin collars and empire waists tied with lavender velvet ribbon. They also wore matching velvet bows in their hair and carried bouquets of light blue tipped carnations.

Sherri Orris, sister of the bride, was flower girl, and Rusty Jenkins was ringbearer. Both are of Ainsworth.

Best man was Terry Jones of Chicago, Ill., brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Robert Frame of Ainsworth and Kim Hall of Ames.

Ushers were Ronald Orris, brother of the bride; Roger Norris and Larry Hawkins, all of Ainsworth. David Orris of Washington, cousin of the bride, was candlelighter.

A reception was held in the church basement.

The couple was graduated from Highland Community High School. Jones is associated with Oscar Mayer Co., in West Liberty, where the couple will live.
