Samuel Ruby is buried at Beacon Cemetery' Mahaska County Iowa. He married Sarah Louisa Levi Jan 24, 1838 at Ripley County IND. They had 9 children and adopted another child making it 10. Sarah is also buried at Beacon Cemetery. There was one burial of Wapello County: at Kirkville.

8. Murton Clay Mar 4, 1844 Rock Co Wis died Jan 18, 1922 Polk County Iowa Des Moines buried Beacon Cemetery.
9. Claretta Medora Apr 7, 1846 Rock Co Wis died Jan 25, 1908 Kirkville; Wapello County Iowa. Burial was at Kirkville Cemetery.
10. Tilford H. Nov 5, 1839 Ripley County IND died Dec 31, 1862 Colunbus, Hickman Co KY; buried at Beacon Cemetery.

Samuel was born March 26, 1816 Virginia
died Dec 29, 1886.
Sarah Louisa Levi born Sep 11, 1816 Ohio; died Dec 5, 1886.
