Brant R Jenkins, 85, of 902 N Ash died Thursday at 10:04 a.m. at Ottumwa Hospital. He was born in Beacon February 26, 1889,the son of Richard & Clara Dougan Jenkins. He had been a resident of Monroe and Wapello counties all his life. He worked at the hardware store in Chillicothe & was past Town Clerk. He was a member of the Church of God. He is survived by 2 sisters Mrs.Clifford Savage and Miss Helen L. Jenkins of Ottumwa. Preceded in death by 1 sister and 2 brothers. Services Saturday at 2 p.m. at Jay Funeral home with Elder Earl Harrington officiating.Burial at Shaul Cem. (Helen Louise Jenkins died May 7, 1976 at age 68 buried Shaul Cem. Mrs. Nina Savage was still alive in 1979 when her husband Clifford died and buried Memorial Lawn Cem.
