Based on the information you gave, I have come up with the following (some of which you probably already know)

1870 Iowa Federal Census

Isaac Mast, head, aged 61, born Pennsylvania, retired teacher
Anna Mast, wife, aged 58, born Pennsylvania, mother of 8 children of which 6 are living.
Isaac N. Mast, son, aged 25, born Ohio, attorney

Wapello County marriage records: Anna C. Mast married Burdett D. LaForce 2 Feb 1897

1900 Iowa Federal Census

Anna Mast, head, born Jan 1812, Pennsylvania, widow
T.A. Fulton, dau, born Dec 1841, Ohio, widow
Olive Fulton, grandau, born Aug 1869, Iowa

Burdett D. LaForce, head, born Aug 1869, Iowa, physician
Annie C. LaForce, wife, born Aug 1873, Iowa
Jeanette LaForce, dau, born Jul 1899, Iowa

Olive Fulton married Frank A. Nimocks on 18 Nov 1902

Isaac N. Mast, head, aged 65
Margaret E. Mast, wife, aged 57

LaForce household is the same except add
Robert LaForce, son, born Nov 1909, Iowa

Margaret Eleanor Mast married Wilson Elliott on 7 Jun 1922.

I can find no record of Burdett LaForce in the 1920 census, However, I do find that Burdett LaForce, wife Annie, and son Robert are living in Pasadena, California in the 1930 census.
