There are two Samuel Owen marriages listed in early Wapello County records:

Samuel Owen married Elizabeth Hunter 28 Sep 1854
Samuel Owen married Nancy Jane Williams 23 Mar 1857.

There are no listings for a Margaret Chance, Amelia Owen, or Staling Barnes.

There are two John Owen marriages listed in Wapello County:

John A Owen married Fannie Woolums on 4 Feb 1918
John Edwin Owen married Gertrude May Hanks on 14 May 1901
