I checked my newspaper index for 1908 and no WILLIARD'S are in it. I took it for granted that Charles E. WILLIARD probably did die in 1903.

However in my death records for 1907-1916 does have Charles E. WILLIARD as dying 9-11-1908 (Burial date) His age was 45 and he was born in PA.

**You can get a copy of his death records by contacting the courthouse in Ottumwa. The library there may have an obit so, do check there too.
