Found on 1880 Census Clinton Roberts 5 b. PA; Alice 3 b. IA; Ida Roberts 1 b. IA to William O Roberts, Blacksmith 32 b. PA Father-Wales mother- PA and Mary Etta 29 b. PA f, Wales m, PA in Cleveland, Lucas Co, Iowa T9-0352 p. 451 C. Also Lucus Co. p. 451 Richard Roberts,Carpenter 36 b.PA f. Wales m, PA; Elizabeh 28 B. PA f. Wales, m. PA Margaret E 11 B.PA; John 10 b.PA; Cora J. 3 b. IA. This was coal mining area with good wages for workers. Railroad was also being built just west of this area. Now you have 2 sets of Roberts to search for in Iowa--Pat Volunteer
