Check out the Biography for Joseph C. Blunk who was in the 1870 Wapello County Census.

Joseph C. Blunk's family lived in the house that my Jones and Lanigan used as a rental. It was 928 Mill street. Joseph C. Blunk was the son of Joseph Blunk. He was just 3 years old in the 1870 Wapello County Census. His father Joseph Blunk was best friends with my G. Grandfather John LANEGAN (Lanigan) who lived at 928 Pershing Avenue. G.W Jones burild both these houses in 1860.

Mary (nee Burns) 35 Ireland
Sarah 13 New York (Syracuse)
Margaret (Maggie) says New York but I think Fairfield, Iowa / Jefferson County.

Timothy 3 Iowa
*My grandfather: James age 3mos Iowa

Joseph Blunk 32 laborer born Indianna
Sarah A. (his second wife) 32 Ohio
Joseph 3 Iowa
*G.W. Jones (Goviel Jones) 66 retired farmer Pennsylvania
Louisa Jones Housekeeper 19 Ohio
G.W. Jones son John Jones married our Margaret Lanegan listed in this census record. She is listed as age 9. They had a daughter born and I have no more info on her.
