Checked the WPA records and there is no listing for Maxfield Hunter. Just for giggles and laughs I checked marriage records and found the following Wapello county marriages:

Anderson Hunter married Angeline Wellman on 31 Oct 1867
Erastus Hunter married Margaret Owen on 10 Apr 1856
Erastus Hunter Jr. married Millie LaFollette on 20 Mar 1901
Elizabeth Hunter married Samuel Owen on 28 Sep 1854
Mary Hunter married Jonathan Kindall on 8 Nov 1855
Mary L. Hunter married Baron S. Edwards on 11 Nov 1869

There is a Mrs. J. Kindal buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, but I don't think it is the same one listed above. She died on 28 Feb 1857 at the age of 55 years.

You may wish to check with someone in Davis county as I found Erastus Hunter and his wife Margaret are buried in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Davis Co. The WPA records for Davis county say that Erastus was born in Peoria, IL and died in Ash Grove, Iowa on 14 Feb 1891. His wife Margaret died on 31 Jul 1917. Erastus Jr. was born 1870 and died in 1932.
