Cindy Ann Robertson, 56, of 218 N. Sheridan, died at 8:15 p.m. January 1, 2012, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
She was born August 26, 1955, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Roy Edwin and Elizabeth Anne Fitzgerald McKeever. She married Barry Dean Robertson on November 21, 1990.
A 1973 graduate of Ottumwa High School, she had worked at Master Plumbers and Washington Junior High. In 1983 she began working in the athletic office at Ottumwa High School, retiring in 2011.
Cindy was an avid bowler. She enjoyed roller skating and watching softball.
Surviving are her husband, Barry; four daughters, Toni (Chuck Ives) Counterman and Traci (Steve Berry) Counterman both of Ottumwa, Samantha Robertson and Megan Robertson, both at home; three granddaughters, Kaylee Glasgow, Shayla and Taylar Berry; four step-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy (John) Bowne of Emporia, KS and Becky McKeever of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a half-brother, Tom Riley.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Ottumwa High School Auditorium with Rev. Vern Boetsma officiating. Burial will be in McCormick Cemetery, near Highland Center.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Active pallbearers will be Charlie Stufflebeam Sr., Charlie Stufflebeam Jr., Larry Weaton, Jeff Harness, Dale Bowne, and Harry Nicholson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Clement and Frank Huston.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Ottumwa A Club or to the family for her daughters' education.
