Wm J LaForce, formerly of this area, passed away in Oskaloosa on Friday, November 11, 1910, aged 55 years. Born in Mahaska county to Presley LaForce, He is also survived by a step-mother, several brothers and sisters and 2 daughters. Emma, wife of Arthur Smith is a sister. Interment was in Davis Cemetery near Bluff Creek Union Chapel.
