OTTUMWA - Former Ottumwan Margaret A. Hartley, 78, of Marshalltown Manor died at 9 p.m. March 4, 1990.

She was born Feb. 5, 1912, in Van Buren County to Simon and Myrtle Armentrout Overturf. She married Clifford L. Hartley on Oct. 1, 1946, in Ottumwa. He died May 25, 1983.

She was a member of Marshalltown Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by a son, Leo of Fairfield; two daughter, Becky Perdue of Marshalltown and Rosemary Shealy of Columbia, S.C.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles; and a sister, Sarah Nelson.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Iowaville Cemetery near Selma, the Rev. Loyal Hepker of East Ende Pentecostal Church of God officiating.

Visitation will begin at noon today at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Ottumwa. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
