Lloyd F. Hale
Lloyd F. Hale, 75, of Route 2, Tama Road, Burlington, Iowa died at 9:44 a.m. Friday, August 10, 1990 at Burlington Medical Center.
Born September 27, 1914 at Morning Sun, he was the son of Ray and Sarah Hannum Hale. he married Maxine E. Rice on January 2, 1036 in Des Moines.
He was a retired firefighter and served and Iowa National Guard from 1934 to 1937. He was president of Building Trades Union and president of the Iowa Union and president of the Iowa Association of Firefighters, Des Moines Lodge No. 1, Des Moines Consistory.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Elaine Lox, Tucson, Arizona; one son, Larry Hale, Burlington; two brothers, Paul and Harvey hale, both of Burlington; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, August 13, 1990 at Prugh's Chapel with Pastor Robert Dodds officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Camp Sunnyside.
