I have a great-great-grandfather Herman Bruhn obituary who lived in Scott/Clinton counties 1871-1929. Emigrated with wife, Katharina Kahler on steamer Hosatia in 1871 along with four children. After having two more children between 1872 and 1877 he marries Anna Bergfreith in 1880. Sometime between 1877 (birth of last child) and 1880, Katharina disappears. Trying to find out what happened to Katharina Kahler (born 1837, Danschendorf, Fehmarn).
