ROSS AND MACLACHLAN

I am looking for a John Ross born about 1840 in Cape Breton Canada who was married to an Elizabeth MacLachlan they moved to Iowa some time in the late 1800's. There children were Alexander abt. 1863; Bella abt 1863; John abt 1866; female born 13 Oct 1867; margaret born 27 June 1869; annie abt. 1871; William abt. 1872; Ann abt. 1874; Donald abt 1875 and John abt 1880. Any one with a connection to this family I would really like to hear from you. Thanks.
