Two little girls aged ten and thirteen, daughters of W. K. Ross, of Creston, Union County, were recently heartlessly abandoned by their father and step-mother, who sent the children to the neighbors’ on some pretense, and during the abandoned left the country, leaving them alone, unprotected and half-starving.
