On Wedneday of last week at the home of the bride in Sand Creek township occurred the wedding of Miss Martha Hinkle, daughter of John Hinkle, to Frank Scherer, Rev. T.M. Evans performing the ceremony. Quite a number of relatives and friends were present to wittness the ceremony and partake of the bounteous wedding dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Scherer are two of Sand Creek township's most esteemed young people. They belong to families of wealth, influence and the highest respectability. They are well fitted to face life togerher and begin their matrimonial career with flattering prospects which all who know them hope to see fully realized. They will, we learn, make their home on the Scherer farm southeast of Afton.
