Bedford, Iowa, May 2. – A slight thunderstorm occurred in this vicinity, but was fatal in its results. A young man by the name of Edward Stevens was driving along the road a few miles south of Bedford when the lightening struck him and injured him so that he died in a few hours. His team was killed outright.
