Tama, Ia. July 6. – W. E. Fowler, of Tama; H. A. Knepper, of Grinnell; and O. S. Jacobs, of Des Moines played off the finals in the Iowa Chess Tournament yesterday. Knepper and Jacobs who defeated Folwer, played a draw game, and Knepper yielded the championship to Jacobs without playing off the draw.
