Date of Death for Maria Mabel Roberts

I'm looking for a date of death for Maria Mabel Roberts, an influential teacher at Iowa State University. I know she was born 29 Jun 1867 and that she died in the year 1942. However, I'm not having any luck locating an exact date of death in the online records. She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Roberts and Ellen C. Rogers. Ellen is my great-aunt; I descend through her half-sister Nettie Alice Davie, who married Charles W. Hunt. While Maria Roberts didn't have offspring, her influence in education fascinated me and I'd like to preserve her story through my family's history. Thanks in advance for any help.
