I am trying to put together the pieces of my husband's family history and would be grateful for any help. Here is what I know - his grandfather's name was Earl Nervig. He was the son of Erick O. and Hannah Nervig, both originally from Slater Iowa. I believe Erick O. was the son of Owen and Jane Nervig originally from Norway - but where in Norway? All lived in Slater Iowa but at some point Erick O. ended up in South Dakota. Any help appreciated.
