J.C. Morse

Greetings to Iowa from Arizona. I am looking for information on J.C. Morse. The 1880 census lists him as living in Colo, Story, Iowa born in Indiana about 1857. He is shown as hired with the Tyler family and his occupation as baker. Story County marriage records show J.C. Morse m. to Mary Sowers 31 Dec 1894. The 1895 Story County Census shows Mary Morse living with a Sowers family with two children; Eddie and May. Eddie, I believe is my G-Grandfather, who later moved to Montrose, Colorado. I cannot seem to connect J.C. Morse with any other information, who his parents were or even where he was in 1895. Thank you in advance for any help!
