PASSING OF HENRY H. TWEDT OF ROLAND
Funeral services were held at the Roland Bergen church Tuesday for Henry H. Twedt, 65, who died on Saturday morning, March 7, after an illness of a year.
He resided on a farm north of Roland until several years ago, when he moved into town.
Born July 30, 1877, he had lived in the Roland area all his life. He was the son of the late Hans and Gjore Twedt. He was married to Isabel Wicks who died seven years ago. A daughter, Herma Josephine, died several years ago while a student in Roland High school.
He is survived by four sons and two daughters. They are Leonard, Leslie and Virgil, all of Roland, and Harris of Radcliffe. Daughters are Mrs. Gaylord Jacobson of Ellsworth and Mrs. Silas Hall of Radcliffe.
Two sisters and four brothers also survive. They are Mrs. Lars Amdall of Story City, Mrs. Olaus Osheim of Roland, Abel H. and Sam H. of McCallsburg, and Joe H. and Andrew H. of Roland. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Twedt, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
