SIOUX CENTER:Herman De Vries and Miss Bertha Duistermars were quietly married last Friday at the home of the bride by Rev. Van Wyk. They have had the courage of their convictions in setting at naught superstition as to Unlucky Friday. De Vries is an industrious young man in the employ of Hoeven & Company and the bride is the handsome daughter of the late William Duistermars. May the hope of youth be rewarded and the roses of beauty ne’er fade.
