Predeceased by: Parents, John and Clara (nee Schuttloffel) Scheffler; husband, Charlie; brother, John Jr.

Education: Attended grade school and high school in Avoca, IA and graduated from AvoHa (IA) High School, Class of 1965. After high school, she attended beauty school in Des Moines, IA and graduated in June 1966.

Marriage: Charles Ronnfeldt; June 25, 1967; Trinity Lutheran Church, Avoca, IA

Employment: Worked as a hairstylist in Omaha, NE and Harlan, IA before opening her own beauty salon in the basement of her house, where she would be open for business for the next 25 years. She managed the Avoca Pool for 5 years, was an Avon Sale Representative and most recently was an insurance sales woman and after- care coordinator at Knudsen Funeral Home and Shelby County Monument, Harlan, IA

Hobbies/Interests: Served on various committees throughout the community and area including Eastern Star, Zoning Committee, Avoca Promotions, High School Choir Director at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunday School Teacher, Iowa West Foundation Board, and Iowa Western Community College Education Committee member. She enjoyed planting flowers, reading, hosting holiday and birthday parties, helping at swim meets, spending time with her 2 daughters and granddaughters, holiday baking, watching the Food Network Channel and QVC, and making trips to Lake Okoboji. Perhaps she mostly treasured watching for cardinals and looking at rainbows after Charlie passed away.
