Education: Graduated from Walnut High School, Class of 1951. He attended Iowa State University for one year before enlisting

Religious affiliation: Baptized and confirmed at Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church (Peace United Church of Christ) in Walnut, IA. He was recognized last year as being the longest living member.

Military service: Enlisted into the U. S. Army

Employment: After his military service, he remained working with his father at Lafrentz Standard. He eventually took over in 1971 and enjoyed friendships throughout southwest Iowa.

Hobbies/Interests: Was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan, and his family vacations frequently involved attending baseball games; he was also an avid Arizona State Sun Devils fan, and Bob enjoyed going to softball and baseball games during his time in Arizona. He loved music and loved to dance
