ELK HORN, Ia. July 6 – Johannes Jensen, who operated the largest farm in town limits of Elk Horn has quite a reputation as an inventive genius. All over his farm may be found many labor saving and handy devices of one kind and another, which bespeak of Mr. Jensen ingenuity. Lately he has sprung a new one. Mr. Jensen does his milking in the barn, and sets a good sized electric fan behind the cow he is milking. The breeze from the fan blows the flies off from bossy and keeps both the cow and whoever is doing the milking cool and comfortable.
