Funeral services for Albert Olderog, 85, Durant, were held March 2 at the Lacock Funeral Home in Durant, with the Rev. David Lawson officiating. Pallbearers were Robert Glaser, Merrill Knouse, Steve Stecher, Carl Van De Berghe, Larry Van De Berghe and Eugene Van De Berghe. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Olderog died Feb. 28 at Mercy hospital in Davenport.

The son of Nickolaus and Emma Hoeper Olderog, he was born Jan. 31, 1902 in Scott county. He married Hattie Petersen Feb. 5, 1930 in Davenport. He farmed his entire adult life in the New Liberty area, retiring in 1963.

Mr. Olderog is survived by his wife. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
