HI,
According to the Sac COunty Courthouse it says this; HENRY CLAY HESS, age 68-0-27, farmer, born in Dayton, Ohio, died in Delaware Township, Sac County, Iowa on MAY 3, 1900 of neuralgia of the heart. Buried in Early, Iowa Cemetery.
One of his sons JAMES HESS was a street commissioner in Early, Iowa and he died in 1935.
