The Sac Sun - Thursday , November 18th, 1909 - Thomas E Breon expired suddenly while sitting in his chair at his home in the 2nd ward of Sac City Wednesday evening, Nov 17, 1909 at 5:15, aged nearly a month over 59 years.

He had been ailing for 3 years and, while for months his sudden demise was not unexpected, only a few minutes before his death he crossed the room and was looking out of a window.

The funeral will take place at the residence on Friday afternoon. The burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.

Thomas Eleon Breon was born in Center County, PA Oct. 20, 1850. At the age of 13 he moved with his parents to Stephenson county, IL. At Rock Grove in the county, Mr Breon was married in Jun 1876 to Miss Catherine Grazer*. In 1877 they moved to Douglas township, Sac County, IA. and in this county have resided ever since, for nearly 4 years last past in Sac City.

To them was born one son, Oscar, who has resided with his parents in Sac City. Besides his wife and son, Mr Breon is survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Two of the brothers, Samuel and Ellis, reside in Sac County. He was an industrious and respected citizen.
