Lucille's mother's obituary:
Evelyn M. Landon, daughter of M. W. and Susan Landon, was born January 17, 1873, in Ringgold county, Iowa, and passed away February 11, 1949, following an illness of many years' duration. Her early life was spent in the Fry Chapel neighborhood, where she grew to young womanhood, became a Christian and attended church. On September 19, 1895, she was united in marriage with Robert James TAGGART, and to this union were born seven children, three of whom - Thomas Cecil, Robert Glenn and Mrs. Lucille O'GRADY - preceded her in death. Mr. TAGGART passed away April 10, 1935, and a brother, John LANDON, also preceded her in death. Left to mourn her departure are three sons, Howard, of Kellerton, Verne of Blockton and Lawrence of Callender; a daughter, Mrs. John O'GRADY, of White Owl, S. D.; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence MILLER, of Cle Elum, Wash., and Mrs. Dora HOKE, of Mohall, N. D., sixteen grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends.
