CHARLIE V. WEIGEL

Services were Dec. 29 at Elkhart Christian Church for Charlie V. Weigel, 83 of Garden Grove who died of lung cancer Dec. 24, 1995 at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. Burial was in the Elkhart Cemetery.

Mr. Weigel was born in Bondurant and lived in Polk County before moving to Garden Grove in 1985. A retired farmer, Mr. Weigel was a member of the Christian Church of Elkart.

Among Mr. Weigel's survivors are his wife Cora; five sons, Dick Weigel of Des Moines, Tom Weigel of Otley, Dan Weigel of New Virginia, Paul Weigel of Ellston and Charlie Weigel of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter Kathy Baker of Tokyo, Japan, 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
