Maxine E McQueen, age 94, died at her Grandson's home just north of San Diego California on November 9, 2001 of natural causes.
Born July 18, 1917 in Mount Ayr, Iowa she lived in Des Moines most of her life and worked in retail.
She is loved, she is missed. Survivors include Kevin Brown, residing in Encinitas, California and Dawn DeBow, living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She will also be missed by her nieces Janice Hurd in Los Angels(sic), Jody Anderson and Kay Cope both in Escondido, California. Maxine was preceded in death by her son Richard Brown.
At her request, memorial services will be close family only; she will be buried with her family in Mount Ayr, Iowa.
