Seaman 2C Arlo Millard LINK, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Corwin LINK of Diagonal, Iowa, served during World War II with the U.S. Navy. Seaman LINK was K.I.A. Friday, August 10, 1945, and memorialized on the tablets of the missing at Manila American Cemetery, Fort Bonifacio, Manila, Philippines. Seaman LINK was awarded the Purple Heart.
