OBITUARY.

Alice D. TOWMBLEY, 100, of 6117 Beverly Road SW, died Friday, March 24, 1995, in Park View Manor Nursing home, Wellman, IA, after a long illness. Services were held at 3:00 p.m., Monday,March 27, 1995, at Turner Chapel West. Officiating was Reverend Frank SCHULTZ of Trinity United Methodist church.

Alice was born May 26, 1894 in Ellston, Iowa to James and Celest CORNWALL DOLSON. She was a domestic worker for several families. ALice had lived with her daughter, Louise, prior to entering the nursing home.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Louise McCARL of Cedar Rapids and Marie CRETORS of Des Moines; and a son, Lloyd of California.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and three great-great-granchildren.

Honorary pallbearears were her grandsons. Interment was in Mt. Moriah Section of Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. Arrangements were made by Turner Chapel West.
