OBITUARY.

Mary A. McMANUS was born at Lancaster, Pa., May 14, 1819, was married John DELLITT May 26, 1834, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Z. FENDER, in Liberty township (Ringgold County, Iowa), Saturday morning April 13, 1895 after a sickness of about two weeks. Mrs. DELLITT in her youth was a member of the Lutheran church, but in 1871 united with the Presbyterian church at Hamlet, Ill. Her husband died March 20, 1876 at Hamlet, Illinois. For about a year her home has been with her daughter, Mrs. FENDER, in this county. Eight children survive her, three of whom, Mrs. Z. FENDER and Mrs. S. L. THOMPSON, of Liberty township, and T. DELLITT, of Guthrie Center, were with her at the time of her death.

Funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock p.m., on Sunday at the residence of Z. FENDER, by Rev. A. HANCOX, of Tingley, and the remains were taken yesterday to Hamlet, Ill., to be laid today by the body of her husband. The children and grandchildren have the sincere sympathy of a large number of friends in their affliction.
