Mr. J. C. Askren, of Mt. Ayr, Deputy Auditor and Miss Rose Strain of the (Lincoln Township) were married Aug. 24th, Rev. Brown of Eugene officiating. “Jim” id a good businessman and is esteemed and respected by all who know him; he will deserve the fair lady whom he has won.
