My grandmothers name was Ida Marie Spittler, born 1899 and her parents names were Phillip and Maggie Spittler. My mothers name was Pearl M. Ford born 1921 and her parents were Joe and Ida Ford. Thank you for responding back. Since my posting she has decided the picture of the school she has is not the one she attended. She said the one she attended was right by a creek and she had to cross a bridge to get to the school. We also are looking for any information on a house fire that took place either in January or February 1927. Joe and Ida Ford lived in it, but don't think they owned the house. Would love to know where it was located....it was near the school that was by the creek....she believes. (she was 6 yrs old)
