I don't live in Iowa and can't get you a birth certificate, but I can tell you more about your family from census records, etc.
You said that Elizabeth Meyer was born in Avoca in 1875, but I don't find the family there in the 1880 census.
Looking for Minnie Meyer about 1920 (you mentioned she died in Pocahontas Co., IA, 1925), I do find her and her husband in the 1920 census:
Pocahontas Co., IA, Sherman, enumerated 6 January 1920:
Charles Meyer, age 79, immigrated 1866, naturalized 1872, b. Germany, farmer
Minnie Meyer, wife, age 70, immigrated 1860, naturalized 1872, b. Germany
William Meyer, son, 22, b. Iowa, farm laborer
John Meyer, brother, age 71, immigrated 1875, naturalized 1888, b. Heidenberg, Germany, farmer.Then going back to the 1900 census, Pocahontas Co., Ia, Dover Township, page 244, enumerated 9 June 1900:
Chas. MEYER, b. April 1841, Germany, age 59, married 30 yrs, immigrated 1866, naturalized, farmer
Minnie MEYER, wife, b. March 1850, age 50, married 30 yrs, gave birth to 8 children, 5 survive, b. Germany, immigrated 1855
Charles MEYER, son, b. August 1878, age 21, b. IA
Lizzie MEYER, daughter, b. March 1875, age 25, married 2 yrs, gave birth to 2 children, 2 survive, b. IA
Hannah MEYER, daughter, b. April 1881, age 19, b. IA
Willie MEYER, son, b. January 1885, age 15, b. IA
Rosa MEYER, daughter, b. Feb 1892, age 8, b. IA
Rudolph YOKER, servant, 23, b. Germany
John MEYER, brother, b. July 1850, b. Germany, age 50, singleIt appears that Lizzie Meyer Brodersen was living with her parents in the 1900 census, but was recorded as married. Perhaps she went to Pocahontas to visit her family and was there when the census taker arrived.
