Hanssen or Georgi Families

Looking for Erna Margaret Georgi b 16 Jan 1893 in Germany (parents Julius Georgi and Marie Haeger, Erna emmigrated alone in 1907 according to Census info from Erna). She married George Kern between 1817-1920 and lived out her days in Oelwein, Fayette, Iowa dying 1974. Her neice, Mary Jane Johnson Barnes of 618 4th St, Council Bluffs believed Erna lived with her parents before marrying George, and had worked as a housekeeper in General Dodge's house.

I have been unable to find a marriage record or any other documentation on Erna (Georgi) Kern prior to the 1920 Federal Census.

The address of 618 4th Street was checked for me years ago in relation to Erna and found a George and Katie Hansen Family living there with daughters Roxie b 1884, Esther b 1889 and Erna b 1895. George and Katie were German immigrants, and George a resident of CB from at least 1880 until his death between 1900-1910.

Does anyone know this Hanssen/Hanson family and what became of the 3 daughters? Has anyone ever seen a Georgi in relation to Council Bluffs?
