Tombstone

My son found an old tombstone laying face down in an old shed on the property he had just purchased. It reads:
Eva Mossman
November 20, 1920

Can find no genealogy records pertaining to it. Does anyone know who this person was (and why her tombstone is in an old garage/shed?)?
