Nichols Farmer May Lose Sight

NICHOLS, IOWA - April 22 - Arnold Kaalberg, a Nichols farmer, may lose the sight of one eye as the result of a peculiar accident on Saturday evening. Mr. Kaalberg and his family were driving to town in the car early in the evening, when a group of boys along the road threw a stick which struck him in the eye. Dr. Muench dressed the injured member. He was then taken to Iowa City for treatment, but it is doubtful if the sight can be saved.
