The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 21, 1881
A tramp named William Keifner, while attempting to jump a train, early Monday morning, fell between the draft irons, and had one of his feet badly crushed. He was taken in charge of Poormaster Crozer, and sent to his home in Muscatine, at which place he has a wife and three children. The foot was so badly cut that amputation will be necessary.
