Mr. John Early has been thinking for some time of taking a trip south to visit his sisters Mrs. Lue Dunagon at Huntsville Al., and Mrs. Rogers at Cortland Al. Finally he made his arrangements to start on Monday March 9. Just before starting he received a letter stating his sister Mrs. Rogers had died March 4. He went but too late to see a sister whom he had not seen since they were slaves. John will take in the great show at New Orleans while on his travels, also Washington City.
