Kathleen: Thanks so much for your help. I had no idea where this land was. My GGGrandfather must have gone to check it out as Partridge, from the reading of the paperwork already had "built cabin and several feet of fence" -- assume he just decided to sell to Partridge. I tired forever with several search engines to locate addess and phone number for the Courthouse. Finally located. Will contact them. Hoped I could find a lookup person in the County -- none located. Again, thank you very much.
