Susan ‘Sue” Wiggs, 72, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Pleasant View Care Center, Whiting, Iowa.

A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Jeff Thelander, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Sue’s obituary. Burial will follow in the Whiting City Cemetery, Whiting, Iowa. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Susan M. was born November 1, 1952 in Onawa, the daughter of Joy and Lillie (Sierks) Polly. She grew up on a farm near Hornick, Iowa. Sue graduated from Westwood Community School, Sloan, Iowa.

Sue Polly and Dennis Wiggs were united into marriage December 28, 1969 in Onawa. Two children were born to this union, Teresa and Jason.

Sue enjoyed being a housewife and raising her children. She helped on the farm and was a seed corn inspector. Sue enjoyed yardwork, landscaping, and riding Harleys. She loved spending time with her family and friends and attending all her grandchildren’s events.

Sue was a member of the Whiting Christian Church, Whiting, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Wiggs of Onawa, Iowa; her children, Teresa (Steven) Murray of Onawa, Iowa, and Jason (Alison) Wiggs of Onawa, Iowa; five grandchildren, Jocelyn (Hunter) Rea, Brady Wiggs, Halle Murray, Collin Wiggs, and Keagan Wiggs; sister, Vicky (John) Marks of Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joy and Lillie (Sierks) Polly; stepfather, Darrel Weber; and siblings, Sharon (Ray) Prichard, Ronald Polly, Norman Polly, and Duane (Sandy) Polly.
