Lucile E. Mitchem, 94, died on September 6, 2011, at Grandview Heights Rehab and Healthcare in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 10:30 a.m., at Hope United Methodist Church, 2203 S. 3rd Ave., Marshalltown. Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Lucile is survived by three daughters: Kathryn (Joanne Reich) Mitchem, of Ashland City, Tennessee; Maxine (Rich) Wagner, of Clermont, Georgia; and Darlene (Kalen) Fristad, of Dows, Iowa, two sons: Ray (Jana) Mitchem, of Marshalltown; and Donald (Marilyn) Mitchem, of Bettendorf, Iowa, eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be directed to Hope United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Church Women United, Iowa Home Care, and Iowa River Hospice.
